For a donation of 15p per card the 36th Melton (St Mary's) Scout Group will deliver cards to addresses across the town.

The Christmas Post is supported by retailers in the town who allow a post box to be placed in their premises.

Post boxes will be in place from Tuesday to December 16 at Age Concern, Alliance and Leicester, Asfordby Road Stores, Chocolate Shop, Craven Street News, Grange Drive shops, Melton Building Society, Nigel's News, Sherrard Street News, Spar in St John's Drive, Superdrug and Cut Price Cards, Windsor Street.

Deliveries will start on December 12 and will be completed before Christmas.
